Exploring other worlds through books has been my passion since I was six years. Three things caused me to put down my pen: academia; the general motions of life; and the memory of my nine year sister telling a seven year old me that I would grow up to be a poor poet. However, a much higher calling implored me to pick it back up. After praying about my purpose one night, I literally dreamed about a scroll with "Creative Writing" inked on it. I also dreamed that I needed to go back to school for writing and even dreamed about the school to attend. 

Now, I write children's stories, YA and fiction novels.  I keep writing because I like to create ... this is my mission. 

I hold a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, Master of Arts in English, Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications, and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication Studies.
